In The Taratory in South East Asia

8 Jul

As some of you know, In The Taratory took a short break to South East Asia in the final weeks of June. But it didn’t mean the Canberra love had to stop… indeed, thanks to a collection of Like Canberra t-shirts, I was able to bring Canberra to South East Asia. Without further ado: some happy snaps!

If you want amazing food, Vietnam's the place. These rice pancakes with minced mushroom and pork filling were divine.

The shirts did prove a discussion point, though we did still have plenty of people asking where we were from. One of my favourite moments was when a fellow Canberran spotted me in Ho Chi Minh City airport and remarked on my ‘cool shirt’ – and told me he had his own collection at home. Ah, Canberra.

Do you have a Like Canberra shirt? Where do you wear it?

Love the shirts and the images Tara. We enjoyed the Kayaking in Ha Long Bay too. I’m craving Vietnamese food now again. You’re so game getting on a scooter. I loved the Vietnamese attitude to crossing a road and driving.
